If you're traveling by car, start your journey from the town of Jakar in Bumthang district. Head northwest on the Jakar-Tang road (NH 2) for about 25 km. Look for a sign indicating Tang Gewog. After approximately 10 km, you will come across a fork; take the left road towards Mebartsho. Continue on this road for another 5 km until you reach Mebartsho. There is parking available near the site.

If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Jakar to Tang Gewog. Buses run regularly throughout the day. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you reach the Tang Gewog bus stop, you can either walk (approximately 30 minutes) or hire a local taxi to take you directly to Mebartsho, which will cost around 200-300 Ngultrum.
