Getting There

Car
If you are traveling by car, you will likely start from Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. From Thimphu, take the Bhutanese highway towards Paro. The distance is approximately 50 kilometers and takes around 1-2 hours. Once in Paro, continue along the road towards Drugyel Dzong. After about 20 kilometers from Paro, you will reach Drugyel Dzong, which is the starting point for the Jomolhari trek. There is a parking area where you can leave your car. Be mindful that parking fees may apply.
