From La Paz, take the Ruta 3 highway south towards El Alto. Continue on this road until you reach the town of Copacabana, approximately 3.5 hours from La Paz. Once in Copacabana, follow signs to the pier (Puerto de Copacabana) where you can catch a boat to Isla de Juncos de los UROS. The boat ride takes about 30 minutes and costs approximately 25-30 soles per person. Make sure to confirm the return schedule with the boat operator.

From La Paz, take a bus from the Terminal de Buses to Copacabana, which takes about 3.5 hours and costs around 15-20 soles. Once you arrive in Copacabana, head to the Puerto de Copacabana (the main pier) to catch a boat to Isla de Juncos de los UROS. The boat ride costs about 25-30 soles per person and lasts around 30 minutes. Check the return times for the boats to ensure you have a way back.

If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi or using a ride-sharing app from La Paz to Copacabana. This option is more expensive, generally costing between 300-500 soles depending on your negotiation skills.
