Car
If you are traveling by car from Puno, head north on the PE-3S road towards Juliaca. Continue for approximately 30 km until you reach the turnoff for Capachica. Take the exit towards Capachica and follow the signs for about 15 km. Once you arrive in Capachica, you can follow local signs to Playa Capachica, which is located at 9559+8WG. Parking may be available near the beach area, but be prepared for a small fee.
Public Transportation
To reach Playa Capachica via public transportation, start at the main bus terminal in Puno. Look for buses or shared vans heading to Capachica. The journey typically takes about 1.5 to 2 hours and costs around 10-15 soles. Once you arrive in Capachica, you can either walk to Playa Capachica, which is approximately a 20-minute walk from the bus drop-off point, or you can hire a local taxi for a small fare (around 5 soles) to take you directly to the beach.
