Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major city in the Amazon Basin, such as Riberalta or Puerto Villarroel. Head south to connect to Route 4 (Ruta 4) towards the town of Torotoro. The drive may take approximately 6-8 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition, as some roads may be unpaved or poorly maintained. Once you reach Torotoro, look for signs directing you to Parque Nacional Torotoro.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Parque Nacional Torotoro using public transportation, you can take a bus from La Paz to the town of Cochabamba. Buses run frequently and the journey takes around 8 hours.
