Car
From Chacaltaya, head south on the road leading back towards La Paz. Continue driving for about 30 minutes until you reach the intersection with Route 3. Take a left onto Route 3 towards La Paz. After approximately 10 km, keep an eye out for the signs directing you toward Pampalarama. Follow the signs for another 15-20 minutes, and you will arrive at Pampalarama, located at MWCC+GRP, La Paz. Parking is available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Pampalarama from Chacaltaya using public transportation, take a minibus from Chacaltaya to La Paz. These minibuses can be found at the main bus stop in Chacaltaya. The fare is usually around 5 BOB (Bolivianos). The trip takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Once you arrive in La Paz, transfer to another minibus or taxi headed towards Pampalarama. Make sure to tell the driver your destination. The fare for this second leg will be approximately 10 BOB. Expect an additional 30 minutes for this part of the journey.
