If you are driving, start from the town of San Ignacio de Velasco. Head southeast on Route 8 towards the town of San Miguel. Continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction for Route 7. Turn left onto Route 7 and follow it for another 40 kilometers. You will see signs for Puesto Nuevo. Once you get close, use the coordinates 95X2+J65 to guide you to the exact location. Make sure your vehicle has sufficient fuel and check road conditions as they may vary.
Public Transportation
To reach Puesto Nuevo via public transport, first, take a bus from San Ignacio de Velasco to San Miguel. Buses frequently depart from the main bus terminal, and the fare is approximately 30 BOB. Once you arrive in San Miguel, you will need to hire a taxi or a local shared transport (known as 'trufi') to take you the remaining distance to Puesto Nuevo. The cost for this leg of the journey should be around 50 BOB. Provide the driver with the coordinates 95X2+J65 to ensure you arrive at the correct location.
