If you are traveling by car, start from La Paz and head towards Yungas Road. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Drive along the main road until you reach the town of Coroico. From Coroico, continue on the road towards La Senda Verde. After about 10 km, look for signs directing you to Cam. Arapata. This will lead you closer to Cascada Río Kotoni, where you’ll need to park your car nearby and walk the remaining distance to the waterfall.

To reach Cascada Río Kotoni using public transportation, take a minibus or bus from La Paz to Coroico. The buses leave from the cemetery area in La Paz and the journey takes about 3 hours. Once in Coroico, you can catch a local taxi or a shared taxi to take you closer to the Cascada Río Kotoni. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your ride. The taxi can take you to Cam. Arapata, where you will need to walk the last part to the waterfall.
