Car
Start from the city center of La Paz. Head south on Avenida Mariscal Santa Cruz, follow the signs towards Avenida 6 de Agosto. Continue onto Avenida La Paz until you reach the junction with Avenida Costanera. Turn left onto Avenida Costanera and follow it until you reach the exit for Mirador Tupac Katari. The final destination is located at FVC4+CJR, La Paz. There is limited parking available near the mirador.
Public Transportation
From the city center, take a minibus (often referred to as 'trufi') that goes to El Alto. Ask the driver to drop you off at the stop for the 'Mirador' or 'Tupac Katari'. The fare is usually around 3-5 Bolivianos. After getting off, you will need to walk approximately 15 minutes uphill to reach the mirador which offers stunning views of La Paz. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes for the uphill walk.
Taxi or Ride-sharing Service
You can also opt for a taxi or a ride-sharing service like Uber from any location in La Paz Valley. Just provide the driver with the address FVC4+CJR, La Paz. The cost should be around 25-40 Bolivianos depending on your starting location. This is the most convenient option, especially if you have luggage or prefer not to walk.
