Getting There

Car
If you are driving, start from central La Paz and head south on Avenida 6 de Agosto. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida Saavedra, then turn left. Follow Avenida Saavedra until it merges into Avenida America. Stay on this road for about 10 km until you reach the town of El Alto. From there, continue south on the main road until you see signs for Valle de los Gigantes. The entrance is located at coordinates GW5M+X3. Parking is available on site, but make sure to arrive early as it can get crowded.

Public Transportation
To reach Valle de los Gigantes using public transportation, take the yellow 'trufi' (shared taxi) from downtown La Paz to El Alto. Look for 'El Alto' trufis at the designated stops. The fare is approximately 3 BOB. Once you reach El Alto, transfer to a local bus heading south towards Valle de los Gigantes. The bus fare is around 2 BOB. Make sure to inform the driver of your destination, as some buses may not stop directly at the entrance. The bus ride will take about 20-30 minutes.

Combination (Car + Walking)
If you have access to a car and prefer a mix of both driving and walking, drive to the designated parking area near the entrance of Valle de los Gigantes. After parking, you will need to walk approximately 500 meters to the main viewing area. The path is well marked and offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the terrain can be uneven.
