Walking
From the city center (Plaza Murillo), head towards Avenida Mariscal Santa Cruz. Walk straight down this avenue until you reach the intersection with Avenida 6 de Agosto. Turn right onto Avenida 6 de Agosto and continue until you reach the junction with Calle 8. Turn left onto Calle 8 and proceed straight until you reach Calle Lucas Jaimes. Turn right onto Calle Lucas Jaimes, and the Jardín Botánico will be on your left. The total walking distance is approximately 2.5 kilometers and should take around 30-35 minutes.
Public Transport (Micro)
Catch a micro (local bus) from Plaza Murillo heading towards La Florida. Look for the micro with the route number indicating 'La Florida' or similar. Make sure to confirm with the driver or locals if you're unsure. Once you board, stay on until you reach the stop near the Jardín Botánico (FVWM+M43, C. Lucas Jaimes). After getting off, walk a short distance down Calle Lucas Jaimes to your left to reach the entrance of the Jardín Botánico. The micro ride takes about 20-25 minutes depending on traffic.
Taxi or Rideshare
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi or use a rideshare app (if available). Simply tell the driver 'Jardín Botánico, Calle Lucas Jaimes' and they will take you directly to the location. This option is the fastest, taking approximately 10-15 minutes from the city center, depending on traffic conditions.
