If you are in the central area of La Paz (near Plaza Murillo), head east towards Avenida Mariscal Santa Cruz. Walk along Avenida Mariscal Santa Cruz until you reach the intersection with Avenida Perú. Turn left onto Avenida Perú and continue walking straight for about 10 minutes. You will see the Estación Teleférico Central on your right. Look for the large cable car station structure.

From Plaza San Francisco, find a microbus heading towards El Alto. Board any microbus that has 'El Alto' displayed in the front window. After about 15 minutes, ask the driver to let you off at the stop for Estación Teleférico Central. Once you get off, walk towards Avenida Perú and you will see the station directly ahead.
