Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From central La Paz, head to the 'Calle 16 de Julio' bus terminal. Look for buses heading towards 'El Alto' or simply ask locals for 'Mirador Tupac Katari'. From there, you can ask locals for the direction to Mirador Tupac Katari, which is a short 10-minute walk uphill.

    Make your way to the nearest Teleférico station, either 'Rojo' or 'Verde'. If you start from the 'San Francisco' area, take the 'Rojo' line towards 'El Alto'.
