Getting There

    If you are near the Witches' Market (Mercado de las Brujas), exit the market and head south on Calle Jimenez. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Avenida Mariscal Santa Cruz. Turn right on Avenida Mariscal Santa Cruz and walk about 400 meters until you see the Plaza Mayor de San Francisco on your left. You will notice the impressive San Francisco Church as you approach.

    From Plaza Murillo, the main square in La Paz, head northwest towards Calle Comercio. Continue straight on Calle Comercio for about 600 meters, then turn left onto Avenida Mariscal Santa Cruz. Walk for approximately 200 meters, and you will find Plaza Mayor de San Francisco on your right, right next to the beautiful San Francisco Church.

    If you are at the Sagarnaga Street area, exit onto Calle Sagarnaga and go southwest. Continue onto Calle Illampu and move straight until you reach Avenida Mariscal Santa Cruz. Turn left on Avenida Mariscal Santa Cruz and walk for about 600 meters. Plaza Mayor de San Francisco will be on your right, just before you reach the church.
