If you are starting from Plaza Murillo, head east towards Calle Comercio. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida Mariscal Santa Cruz, where you will turn left. Walk along Avenida Mariscal Santa Cruz for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Avenida 6 de Agosto. Turn right and continue walking for another 5 minutes. You will see the Estatua de Eduardo Avaroa located at FVX3+XWV, which is just past the intersection with Avenida 20 de Octubre.

From Plaza San Francisco, walk to the nearby bus stop on Avenida Mariscal Santa Cruz. Take any bus heading towards the Estadio Hernando Siles or Plaza del Estudiante. Once you reach the stop at Plaza del Estudiante, disembark and walk east for about 5 minutes along Avenida 20 de Octubre until you reach FVX3+XWV, where the Estatua de Eduardo Avaroa is located.
