    If you are starting from the Witches' Market (Mercado de las Brujas), head north on Calle Santa Cruz until you reach Avenida Mariscal Santa Cruz. Turn left and walk along the avenue for about 10 minutes until you reach Plaza Murillo. The plaza will be on your right. Look for the large buildings surrounding the plaza, including the Presidential Palace.

  • Public Transport (Minibus)

    From Plaza San Francisco, take any minibus heading towards El Alto (look for a sign that says 'El Alto' on the front of the bus). Get off at the stop near Plaza Murillo, which is approximately a 15-minute ride. Once you get off, walk towards the large square, and you will see Plaza Murillo ahead of you.

  • Taxi

    You can easily hail a taxi from anywhere in La Paz. Simply tell the driver 'Plaza Murillo' or show them the address: GV38+PH8, Socabaya, La Paz. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off right at the edge of the plaza.

    If you are near the San Pedro Prison, head south on Calle Potosí until you reach Avenida 16 de Julio.
