Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are staying in the Sopocachi area, exit your accommodation and head south on Avenida 16 de Julio (also known as 'El Prado'). Continue straight for about 15-20 minutes until you reach Plaza Abaroa. From there, turn left onto Calle 20 de Octubre and continue straight. This road will lead you directly to Plaza Murillo, which is about a 10-minute walk. Look for the distinctive government buildings and the large open space of the plaza as you approach.

  • Public Transit (Minibus)

    From the central market area (Mercado Rodriguez), find a minibus with a sign that reads 'Cota Cota' or 'El Alto.'
