Sunrise Hike in Auquisamaña Park
Hidden Gem of Biodiversity
Experiencing this park with my guide Sergio was fantastic. I was primarily interested in seeing wildlife, and I was not disappointed. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised. We saw the cometa hummingbird and the gigas (giant hummingbird) as well as a pair of ultra-high elevation parrots! The tour was paced perfectly, and had a delightful surprise at the end. We got to have traditional salteñas (delicious) and some very aromatic coffee. All in all a fantastic experience!

The hike was Amazing and the landscape astonishing!!!! What a pleasure to get out of the crowds and enjoy this with almost no souls around ! Abdón is full of secrets, shortcuts, ideas .... He is the man of the situation!

Great way to spend a sunny morning
Beautiful day hike just outside La Paz. The ride out is nice, you walk through a beautiful eucalyptus grove, see some farms, and then get into the impressive canyon, ending in the town of Palca. And Ricky (the guide) is good hiking company!
