Absolute Best Tour
This is the absolute best option a person could choose. We were first to arrive and had the place to ourselves, and that made a difference because it was a Saturday and as we departed a few dozen people arrived. But more than just that, this tour gets you exclusive access to a hidden, practically secret, lagoon. And en route got to see a ton of wildlife, despite the extreme elevation!

Hidden Gem of Biodiversity
Experiencing this park with my guide Sergio was fantastic. I was primarily interested in seeing wildlife, and I was not disappointed. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised. We saw the cometa hummingbird and the gigas (giant hummingbird) as well as a pair of ultra-high elevation parrots! The tour was paced perfectly, and had a delightful surprise at the end. We got to have traditional salteñas (delicious) and some very aromatic coffee. All in all a fantastic experience!
