If you are starting from Plaza Murillo, walk southeast on Avenida Mariscal Santa Cruz towards Calle Potosí. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Calle Sagarnaga. Turn left onto Calle Sagarnaga and walk for about 200 meters. The Basilica of Saint Francis will be on your right at Sagarnaga 173.

From Plaza Murillo, walk to the nearest mini-bus stop located on Calle Comercio. Take a mini-bus marked 'Rojo' or 'Calle 21' towards the Sagarnaga area. The journey will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Get off at the stop near the intersection of Calle Sagarnaga and Calle Indaburo. Walk a short distance down Calle Sagarnaga, and the Basilica of Saint Francis will be on your left at Sagarnaga 173.
