Walking
From the central area of La Paz, such as Plaza Murillo, head towards Avenida Mariscal Santa Cruz. Walk along this avenue until you reach the intersection with Avenida 6 de Agosto. Turn left onto Avenida 6 de Agosto and continue straight. Follow the avenue until you reach a small park called Parque Urbano Central. Just after the park, look for the signs directing you to Mirador Laikakota. The observation deck is located a short uphill walk from the main road, so be prepared for a bit of a climb.

From Plaza San Francisco, take a Micro (local minibus) with the route number '11' towards El Alto. Get off at the stop near the intersection of Avenida 6 de Agosto and Calle 12 de Octubre. From there, walk uphill towards the signs for Mirador Laikakota. The observation deck is a short distance from the bus stop, and you will see signs leading you to the viewpoint.
