Getting There

    If you are driving from Copacabana, head east on Avenida 6 de Agosto. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 2. Turn right onto Route 2 and follow the signs for Tiquina. Stay on this road for about 30 km until you reach the town of Tiquina. From Tiquina, you can access a ferry that crosses Lake Titicaca to the other side. The ferry ride costs approximately 5 BOB (Bolivianos) per person. Once you arrive on the opposite shore, continue driving north for about 15 km. Look for signs directing you to Bolivia Lake, which will be on your right.

    To reach Bolivia Lake via public transport, begin at the main bus terminal in Copacabana. Take a bus heading towards Tiquina; these are frequent and the fare is around 10 BOB.
