The most common route is via Route 2 (Ruta 2) which connects to the town of Copacabana. Follow the signs to Copacabana, as the town is well-marked. Once you arrive in Copacabana, look for parking options near the town center. The Basilica of Our Lady of Copacabana is located at RWM7+9VH. It should be within walking distance from most parking areas in the town.

Public Transportation
To reach the Basilica using public transportation, you can take a bus from nearby towns such as Puno or La Paz. Buses from Puno typically leave from the main bus terminal and take about 4-5 hours. Once you arrive at the Copacabana bus terminal, exit the terminal and walk towards the main square. The Basilica of Our Lady of Copacabana is located just a short 5-minute walk from the bus terminal. Head towards the main square and you will find the Basilica at RWM7+9VH.

If you prefer a more comfortable and direct route, consider taking a taxi. You can hire a taxi from your location in Lake Titicaca, or from the Copacabana bus terminal if you arrive by bus. Negotiate the fare before starting your trip; a taxi ride from the Copacabana bus terminal to the Basilica should not cost more than 10-15 Bolivianos. Once you arrive, the Basilica will be just a short walk from where you are dropped off.
