Car
From the Pantanal region, head towards the town of Villa Tunari. Take Route 7 (Carretera de la Selva) heading north for approximately 70 km. After reaching Villa Tunari, continue on Route 7 for another 30 km until you see signs for Parque Nacional Carrasco. Turn right and follow the dirt road for about 10 km until you arrive at the park entrance.
Public Transportation
Take a bus from the main town in the Pantanal region to Villa Tunari. The buses run frequently and the journey takes about 2-3 hours. Once in Villa Tunari, you can take a taxi or local transport to the park entrance. Expect to pay around 50-100 BOB for the taxi, depending on the negotiation.
Hiking
If you're already close to Parque Nacional Carrasco, consider hiking from nearby trails. Ensure you have a local guide, as the trails can be confusing. Bring sufficient water and snacks for the hike, and prepare for a trek of 5-10 km depending on your starting point.
