Car
If you are driving to Uyuni, navigate to the coordinates G5Q9+73W, C. Fernando Alonzo, Uyuni. From the main road (Ruta 30), turn onto Calle Fernando Alonzo and follow the road until you reach the center of Uyuni. Look for signs indicating the direction to the train station, as it is a key landmark in the town.
Bus
If you are traveling by bus, you can take a bus from major cities like La Paz or Potosí. Buses to Uyuni typically leave from the main bus terminals in these cities. Upon arriving at the Uyuni bus terminal, head towards the main street (Calle Fernando Alonzo), which is a short walk away. The town center and attractions are easily accessible from there.
Taxi
Once you arrive in Uyuni, you can hire a taxi from the bus terminal or anywhere in the town. Taxis are generally available and can take you directly to your accommodation or any specific location in Uyuni. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
Walking
If you are already in the Salar de Uyuni area and wish to reach the center of Uyuni, you can walk from any location within the Salar towards Calle Fernando Alonzo. Depending on your starting point, it may take some time, but the distance is manageable. Follow the signs to the town center as you approach Uyuni.
