Walking
From the main square (Plaza 10 de Noviembre) in Uyuni, head west on Avenida Potosí. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the end of the street. You will see a large road sign indicating the direction to Salar de Uyuni. Continue walking on this road, which will eventually lead you to the entrance of Salar de Uyuni. It is approximately 30 minutes on foot from the main square.
Bicycle
You can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops around Plaza 10 de Noviembre. Once you have your bike, head west on Avenida Potosí for about 10 minutes until you see the sign for Salar de Uyuni. The bike ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes to reach the entrance of the Salar, depending on your speed.

Many local tour operators in Uyuni provide shuttle services to Salar de Uyuni. Visit any of the tour agencies located near Plaza 10 de Noviembre and book a tour that includes transportation.
