Getting There

  • Walking

    From the main plaza in Uyuni (Plaza 10 de Noviembre), head south on Avenida Ferroviaria for about 10 minutes. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle Potosí. Turn left on Calle Potosí and walk for another 5 minutes until you reach the railway tracks. Once you reach the tracks, turn right and follow the tracks for approximately 20 minutes. The Train Cemetery will be visible on your left, marked by rusted locomotives and train cars.

  • Bicycle

    You can rent a bicycle from one of the shops near the central plaza in Uyuni. Start from Plaza 10 de Noviembre, heading south on Avenida Ferroviaria. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Calle Potosí. Turn left onto Calle Potosí, then right at the railway tracks. Follow the tracks for around 2 km. The Train Cemetery will be on your left-hand side.
