If you're starting from the Tarija Bus Terminal, exit the terminal and head southeast on Avenida 6 de Agosto. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Calle La Paz. Turn left onto Calle La Paz and walk for another 500 meters. You will see the Main Plaza Tarija on your right, near the intersection with Calle Sucre. The plaza is a central location and hard to miss.

From the Plaza Luis de la Fuente, which is approximately 700 meters away, head northwest on Avenida 6 de Agosto. Continue for about 300 meters until you reach Calle La Paz, then turn right. Walk straight for about 400 meters, and you will find Main Plaza Tarija on your left.

If you're at the Mercado Central, exit the market and head south on Calle Sucre. Continue for about 600 meters, crossing over Avenida 6 de Agosto, until you reach the intersection with Calle La Paz. Turn left onto Calle La Paz, and Main Plaza Tarija will be just a short walk ahead on your right.
Public Transport (Bus)
If you are near the main market area, look for a local bus heading towards the city center. You can catch one from Avenida 6 de Agosto. Stay on the bus for about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic, and get off at the stop near Calle La Paz. From there, walk a few minutes to reach Main Plaza Tarija, which will be located just a block away.

From Hotel Tarija, head east on Avenida 6 de Agosto for about 300 meters. Turn left onto Calle Sucre and walk straight for approximately 400 meters. You will reach Main Plaza Tarija at the intersection with Calle La Paz.
