From the center of Tarija, head to the main bus terminal located at Av. 6 de Agosto. Look for buses heading towards San Lorenzo or the surrounding areas. The fare is usually very affordable. Inform the bus driver that you want to get off at 'Represa San Jacinto'. The journey typically takes around 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive, you may need to walk a short distance to the dam area.
Taxi or Motorcycle Taxi (Moto-taxi)
Find a taxi or a moto-taxi from any location in Tarija. You can hail a taxi on the street or ask your hotel to call one for you. Provide the driver with the destination: 'Represa San Jacinto, 97XF+79J, Unnamed Road'. The ride should take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic.
