From the center of Uyuni, head south on Avenida Ferroviaria until you reach the intersection with Calle Potosi. Turn left (east) onto Calle Potosi and continue walking straight until you reach the main bus terminal (Terminal de Buses de Uyuni). This walk should take approximately 15 minutes. At Terminal de Buses de Uyuni, purchase a ticket for a shared taxi or minibus heading to the Uyuni Salt Flat (Salar de Uyuni). The fare is usually around 30-50 Bolivianos. Once you have your ticket, head outside to the designated pickup area. Shared taxis/minibuses usually depart when full, so you may need to wait a little while. The ride to the Salt Flat will take approximately 30-45 minutes.
