From La Paz, take the Yungas Road (also known as the Road of Death). Head towards the town of Coroico, which is approximately 60 km (about 1.5 to 2 hours) from La Paz. Keep an eye out for the FXJW+23 coordinates along the way, as Jukupacha is located near this area. Once you reach Coroico, continue on the main road until you see signs directing you to Jukupacha. It may be helpful to use a GPS or a mobile maps application to ensure you stay on track. Parking may be limited, so plan to arrive early.

Begin your journey at the main bus terminal in La Paz (Terminal de Buses). Look for buses heading towards Coroico. The fare is typically around 30-50 BOB (Bolivian Bolivianos) and the trip will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. After arriving in Coroico, you can find local taxis or shared minibuses that can take you closer to Jukupacha. Ensure to ask the driver to drop you at the FXJW+23 coordinates. The fare for the taxi or shared minibus should be about 10-20 BOB.

If you are staying in Coroico, you can walk to Jukupacha from the town center. It’s approximately a 3 km walk, which should take about 30-40 minutes. Follow the road signs towards the FXJW+23 coordinates, keeping in mind that the terrain might be hilly and uneven. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water, especially if you plan to walk in the warmer parts of the day.
