Getting There

Car
If you are driving, head southeast on Yungas Road towards La Paz. Continue on this road until you reach the intersection with the Av. 6 de Agosto. Turn left onto Av. 6 de Agosto and continue straight for about 10 km. Look for signs leading to Valle de la Luna, which will be on your right. The entrance is marked, and parking is available on-site. Keep in mind that there may be a small entrance fee, usually around 15 BOB (Bolivian Bolivianos).

To reach Valle de la Luna via public transport, take a minibus from La Paz to Mallasa. Look for minibuses heading to 'Mallasa' which depart from the main bus terminal (Terminal de Buses). The fare is typically around 5 BOB. Once you arrive in Mallasa, walk towards the main road and look for local taxis or tricycles that can take you to Valle de la Luna. The taxi fare should be around 10-15 BOB. Alternatively, you can ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance of Valle de la Luna.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from La Paz directly to Valle de la Luna.
