If you are driving, start from La Paz. Take the 'Carretera a los Yungas' (Yungas Road) and continue towards the town of Coroico. After about 60 kilometers, look for the sign for 'El Choro Trek' near the town of La Cumbre. Turn onto the dirt road leading to the trailhead. Be cautious, as the road can be narrow and winding.
