Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the city of Zenica, which is a central hub in Central Bosnia Canton. Head southeast on the M17 highway towards the town of Vitez. Continue on the M17 for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the M5 road. Turn left onto the M5 road towards the village of Donji Vakuf. After about 15 kilometers, look for signs indicating the Stećci necropolis, located near the village of Tihaljina. The site is approximately 1 kilometer from the main road. Make sure to park your vehicle in designated areas.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from the Zenica Bus Station to the town of Vitez. Buses run frequently, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once in Vitez, transfer to a local bus heading to Donji Vakuf. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. After arriving in Donji Vakuf, you may need to take a taxi to reach the Stećci site, as it is about 5 kilometers away from the bus stop. Taxis are available near the bus station, and ensure to negotiate the fare beforehand, which should be around 10-15 BAM.
