Getting There

Public Transport
To reach Igman from the center of Sarajevo, take tram number 3 from the Baščaršija tram station. Ride for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the last stop at Stup. From Stup, transfer to bus number 23 heading towards Igman. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Igman stop, follow the signs leading to the mountain peak area, which is about a 10-minute walk uphill.

If you're already in the vicinity of the city center, you can start your journey by walking to the Vijećnica (City Hall) and then head towards the Wilson's Promenade. Continue along the promenade until you reach the area of Pionirska Dolina. From there, you may find hiking trails leading up to Igman, but be prepared for a challenging hike that may take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace.

For a more direct route to Igman, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Sarajevo. Simply inform the driver that you want to go to Igman mountain. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on the fare beforehand or ensure that the meter is used.
