To reach the city center (Baščaršija) by public transport, take the Centrotrans Eurolines airport bus. The bus departs from the main road, a short walk from the terminal, and is timed to coincide with flight arrivals. A single ticket costs 5 KM and can be purchased from the driver. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes.

Taxi
Taxis are readily available outside the terminal building. Sarajevo Taxi is the official airport taxi service. A ride to Baščaršija typically costs between 14 KM and 20 KM, plus 1 KM per piece of luggage. Ensure the driver uses the meter, which starts at 1.50 KM with an additional 1.00 KM per kilometer. The journey to the city center usually takes 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic.

Walking
For a more budget-friendly option, take a 10-minute walk to the Dobrinja neighborhood and catch trolleybuses 103 or 107. Trolleybus 103 goes to Trg Austrije, while trolleybus 107 goes to Jezero. Tickets cost 1.60 KM at kiosks or 1.80 KM from the driver. The trolleybus ride to the city center takes around 40 minutes.
