Walking
If you are in the Baščaršija area, start by walking towards Ferhadija Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Zelenih Beretki Street. Turn left onto Zelenih Beretki Street and walk for about 15 minutes. You will pass by several shops and cafes. Once you reach the end of this street, turn right at the traffic lights onto Bulevar Meše Selimovića. Continue straight for about 1 km until you see a sign for the Yellow Fortress. Follow the signs up the hill, and you will reach the fortress in approximately 20 minutes.

Public Transport
From the main bus station in Sarajevo, take tram line 3 towards 'Dobrinja'. Get off at the 'Grbavica' stop. From there, walk towards the direction of Jekovac. You will see signs pointing towards the Yellow Fortress. Follow the road uphill for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the fortress. The walk will offer you scenic views of the city.
