Walking
From Ferhadija, head east towards Mula Mustafe Bašeskije Street. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Kralja Tvrtka Street. Turn left onto Kralja Tvrtka Street and walk for approximately 300 meters until you see the sign for the Yellow Fortress on your right. Follow the signs up the hill. The walk will take around 20-25 minutes, and the path can be steep in some areas, so wear comfortable shoes.

Public Transport
If you prefer public transport, walk to the nearest tram stop on Ferhadija near the BBI Center. Take tram line 1 in the direction of Baščaršija. Get off at the 'Marijin Dvor' stop (approximately 10 minutes). From there, you can either walk to the Yellow Fortress by following the previously described walking route or take a taxi to the base of the fortress for around 10-15 BAM.

For a more direct approach, you can take a taxi from any point in Ferhadija. Simply hail a taxi or use a ride-hailing app. The drive to the Yellow Fortress will take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic, and will cost approximately 10-15 BAM. Once you arrive, you may need to walk a short distance uphill to reach the fortress entrance.
