From the center of Trebinje at Trg Slobode (main square), head southeast on the main road (M6) towards the Old Bridge (Stari Most). After crossing the bridge, continue straight until you reach the intersection where you see signs for Tvrđava Kličanj. Turn left onto the road that leads up the hill towards the fortress. The path is well-marked and about 1.5 km from the Old Bridge. Wear comfortable shoes for the uneven terrain.

Take a local bus from Trebinje's main bus station towards the village of Ljubinje. Inform the driver you want to get off near Tvrđava Kličanj. The bus will drop you off at the closest stop, a 10-15 minute walk to the fortress. Follow the path up the hill, watching for directional signs. The bus fare is approximately 1-2 BAM.

From the center of Trebinje, head south on the main road (M6) towards Dubrovnik. After about 5 kilometers, look for signs for Tvrđava Kličanj. Take the exit toward P8C8+83P and follow the narrow road uphill. A small parking area is near the fortress entrance. Be prepared to pay a parking fee.
