If you are traveling by car, start from Kasane, which is a common entry point in Chobe District. Take the A33 road south towards the town of Pandamatenga. Continue on the A33 for approximately 70 km. After reaching Pandamatenga, look for the signs directing you to the Baines Baobabs. You will need to turn onto a gravel road (look for the VQQ9+4JX marker) and follow this road for about 30 km until you reach the Baines Baobabs. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for gravel roads, as some sections may be rough.
Public Transportation (Taxi)
From Kasane, you can take a taxi or a shared shuttle service towards Pandamatenga. Make sure to communicate your destination clearly to the driver. The taxi ride can cost between 200-400 BWP depending on negotiation. Once you reach Pandamatenga, hire a local taxi to take you to Baines Baobabs. This part of the journey may cost an additional 150-300 BWP. Confirm with the driver that they are familiar with Baines Baobabs before starting your trip.
