Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, start from the center of Maun. Head south on the A3 road (also known as the Maun-Okavango road). Continue on the A3 for approximately 15 kilometers. You will see signs for Crocodile Camp Safari & Spa along the way. Turn left onto Matlapana Road, and follow the road for about 2 kilometers. The camp will be on your right. Make sure to have a map or GPS device handy, as road conditions may vary.

  • Public Transportation

    From Maun, you can take a shared taxi (commonly referred to as 'kombi') heading towards the Okavango Delta. Make sure to inform the driver that you need to stop at Crocodile Camp. The taxi will drop you off at the nearest point to the camp, which is approximately 1 kilometer away. From there, you can either walk or arrange for a local taxi to take you the rest of the way. The taxi fare from Maun to the camp area should be around P30 to P50.

  • Walking

    If you are dropped off near Matlapana Road, you can walk to Crocodile Camp Safari & Spa. The camp is about 1 kilometer from the nearest drop-off point. Follow the signs on Matlapana Road, and it should take you around 15-20 minutes to reach the camp on foot. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated, as Botswana can be hot.
