Taxi

From Kasane Airport (BBK), a taxi is the most convenient way to reach Kwalape Safari Lodge. Taxis are usually available outside the terminal. The ride to the lodge, located along the Kazungula-Kasane road, takes approximately 15-20 minutes. A taxi fare from the airport to the lodge will cost approximately $20-$30. It's advisable to confirm the price with the driver before starting your journey.

Walking

While possible, walking from Kasane town to Kwalape Safari Lodge isn't recommended due to the distance (several kilometers) and potential wildlife encounters. If you choose to walk, be aware of your surroundings and stick to the main road during daylight hours.

Kwalape Safari Lodge, meaning 'at home' in Setswana, strives to provide a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere for guests exploring the Chobe region. Situated between the towns of Kasane and Kazungula, it's ideally located for discovering the Chobe National Park and River, known for its large elephant herds and diverse wildlife. The lodge is also conveniently located about an hour away from Victoria Falls and approximately 1 km from the meeting point of four African countries: Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.The lodge offers a variety of accommodation options, including en-suite chalets, safari tents with shared bathrooms, and serviced campsites. Onsite amenities include a sundowner bar lounge, a boma dining area, a swimming pool, and barbecue facilities. Activities such as game drives in Chobe National Park and boat cruises on the Chobe River can be arranged through the lodge. Day trips to Victoria Falls are also a popular option. Kwalape Safari Lodge provides a comfortable and well-equipped base for exploring the natural wonders of northern Botswana.
