Car
If driving from Kasane, take the A33 towards the Chobe National Park entrance. Once inside the park, follow signs to Maikaelelo Forest Reserve, approximately 40 kilometers from the entrance. Note that the road may be unpaved in areas, and a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Ensure you have a full tank of fuel, as fuel stations are limited within the park. Park entry fees are required, approximately BWP 70 per person per day, plus BWP 50 per vehicle for citizens and residents, or BWP 120 per person per day, plus BWP 50 per vehicle for international visitors.
