Air
The most convenient way to reach Moremi is by flying into Maun International Airport (MUB), the primary gateway to the Okavango Delta. From Maun, take a charter flight to one of the airstrips within or near Moremi, such as Xakanaxa or Khwai. These flights offer spectacular aerial views of the Delta. A seat in plane ticket is between US$ 210 and US$ 240 per person per way.
Road
For adventurous travelers, driving to Moremi is an option, requiring a 4x4 vehicle due to challenging terrain. From Maun, the drive to the South Gate of Moremi takes approximately 4-5 hours, depending on road conditions. Ensure you have spare tires, recovery equipment, and sufficient fuel. Park fees for international non-residents are approximately $11 USD per adult per day and $5.50 USD per child per day. Vehicle entry fees are additional.
