Getting There

Air Shuttle
The quickest way to reach Madikwe Safari Lodge is via a scheduled air shuttle from Johannesburg's OR Tambo International Airport. The flight takes approximately one hour, landing at the Eastern Madikwe Airstrip. The lodge provides complimentary transfers to and from the airstrip. Expect to pay around ZAR 5,000 - ZAR 7,000 per person for a round-trip flight.

Self-Drive
If driving from Johannesburg, take the N4 highway towards Rustenburg. Continue on the N4 until you reach the R33 towards Zeerust. From Zeerust, follow the signs to Madikwe Game Reserve. The journey is approximately 3.5 - 4 hours. Ensure you have the correct entrance gate for your lodge. Entrance fees to the reserve are approximately R 180 per adult and R 80 per child. A Madikwe Guest Conservation Contribution Fee of R 240 per adult & R 120 per child, per night and a Government Bed Levy of R 10 per person per night are also applicable. Note that these fees are subject to change.
