From Gaborone, take the A1 road heading southwest. Continue for approximately 15 kilometers until you see the exit for Mokolodi Nature Reserve. Follow the signs to the reserve entrance. Note that the drive takes approximately 55 minutes. Fuel is limited along the route, so ensure you have enough before departing. Parking is available at the reserve.
Public Transport
From Gaborone Bus Station, take a bus or shared taxi towards Mokolodi. Buses to Ramotswa depart every 30 minutes. Get off at Mokolodi 2 (15km). From the drop-off point, it's approximately 1.5km to the reserve entrance. You may need to hire a local taxi for the final stretch. Bus fare ranges from 10 to 20 BWP. A taxi for the last 5 kilometers may cost 50 to 100 BWP, depending on negotiation.
