To reach Mogonye Gorge using public transportation, start by taking a shared taxi or bus from Gaborone to Kanye. Shared taxis are available at designated taxi ranks, and the fare to Kanye is quite reasonable (typically around 20-30 BWP). Once you arrive in Kanye, you may need to hire a local taxi or ask for a shared taxi to Lekgolobotlo (fare about 50 BWP). Upon reaching Lekgolobotlo, ask the driver to drop you off at the closest point to Mogonye Gorge. From there, you may need to walk the remaining distance of about 2 kilometers. Follow the dirt path leading towards the gorge, keeping an eye out for local signage or ask locals for directions. Be cautious of the operating hours of public transport, especially during weekends or holidays.

If you are driving, start from the nearest major town in Southern District, such as Gaborone or Kanye. From Gaborone, take the A1 highway heading south towards Kanye.
