The most common way to reach Moremi Game Reserve is by flying into Maun International Airport (MUB). From Maun, you can take a charter flight to one of the airstrips within or near the reserve, such as Xakanaxa or Khwai. Mack Air operates shuttle flights from Maun to various lodges within Moremi. Self-driving to Moremi is possible, but a 4x4 vehicle is essential due to the challenging road conditions. The drive from Maun to the entrance gates of Moremi takes about 4-5 hours. Park fees for international non-residents are BWP 270 (approximately $20) per person per day, plus BWP 115 (approximately $8) per vehicle per day. These fees are payable in cash at the gate. Be aware that the roads can be particularly difficult during the wet season.
