Getting There

Air

The most common way to reach Moremi Game Reserve is by flying into Maun International Airport (MUB). From Maun, you can take a charter flight to one of the airstrips within or near the reserve, such as Xakanaxa or Khwai. Mack Air operates shuttle flights from Maun to various lodges within Moremi. Self-driving to Moremi is possible, but a 4x4 vehicle is essential due to the challenging road conditions. The drive from Maun to the entrance gates of Moremi takes about 4-5 hours.
