- Book well in advance, as Nossob is a popular camp and accommodations fill up quickly, sometimes a year ahead.
- Bring binoculars and a camera with a good zoom lens for optimal wildlife viewing at the waterhole and on game drives.
- Pack warm clothing, especially if visiting in winter, as nighttime temperatures can drop dramatically.
- Ensure your vehicle is suitable for gravel roads and consider a 4x4, especially if planning to explore the Botswana side of the park.
- Take advantage of the predator information center to learn more about the local wildlife and improve your chances of spotting them.

Nossob Rest Camp is approximately a 3.5-hour drive north of Twee Rivieren Rest Camp, the main entry point from the South African side. From Twee Rivieren, follow the main gravel road north. The roads are generally well-maintained but can be corrugated, so drive with caution. Ensure you have sufficient fuel, as Nossob is the only place to refuel between Twee Rivieren and the northern reaches of the park. Note: There are conservation fees to enter the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, payable at the entrance gate. As of March 2024, these fees are ZAR116 per person for South African citizens and residents, ZAR233 for SADC nationals, and ZAR465 for international visitors. Children pay half price.
