    From Maun Airport or your accommodation in Maun, a taxi or ride-share is a convenient way to reach Tolankwe Conservancy. Provide the driver with the address: No 5 Hainaveld, Maun. The journey involves traveling along Airport Road and then onto the A3, where you'll turn right at the sign for Tolankwe Conservancy. Confirm the fare beforehand, which typically ranges from 150 to 250 Botswana Pula (BWP) for a one-way trip, depending on the distance and negotiation. The ride takes approximately 20-30 minutes.

  • Self-Drive

    If driving from Maun, head east on Airport Road until you reach the junction with the A3 road. Turn left onto the A3 and continue for about 3 kilometers. Look for the Tolankwe Conservancy sign on the right and turn accordingly. Follow the road to No 5 Hainaveld. Note that road conditions can vary, and a vehicle with good clearance is recommended, especially during the rainy season. There are no toll roads on this route. Parking is available at the conservancy entrance. As of July 2025, parking is free.
