Car
If you are driving from Kasane, take the A33 road heading south towards Nata. Continue on the A33 for approximately 45 kilometers until you reach the turnoff to Domboshaba Hill. Look for a sign indicating the Domboshaba archaeological site. Turn right onto a dirt road and drive about 10 kilometers until you reach the base of Domboshaba Hill. There is no entrance fee, but be sure to check your vehicle's clearance as the road may be rough in some areas.
Public Transportation
From Maun, you can take a public bus heading to Nata. It is advisable to check the bus schedules in advance as they may not operate frequently. Upon arriving in Nata, you can hire a taxi or a local shuttle service to take you to Domboshaba Hill. The taxi ride will take about 30 minutes, and you should expect to pay around P50-P80 for the trip. Be sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
Bicycle
For the adventurous, consider renting a bicycle in Nata. The ride to Domboshaba Hill is approximately 10 kilometers from the main road. Follow the same route as the cars, taking the dirt road towards Domboshaba. Ensure you have a map or GPS to assist you in navigating. It is important to carry enough water and snacks as there are no facilities along the way.
